AetherZero ("we", "our", "the platform") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
Information We Collect
- Access requests: When you submit a request for access, we collect your name, work email, organisation name, and the information you provide in your message.
- Platform usage: Authenticated platform users generate audit log entries (action type, timestamp, account identifier) stored in our audit store for security and compliance purposes.
- Technical data: Standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user-agent, referrer) may be logged by our edge network for security monitoring. This data is not linked to personal profiles.
How We Use It
- To respond to access requests and onboard authorised users
- To maintain an immutable audit trail of platform actions for security and compliance evidence
- To monitor and defend against unauthorised access or abuse
Data Retention
- Access request data: retained for up to 12 months, or until the request is resolved
- Audit log entries: retained for a minimum of 12 months for compliance purposes
- Edge network request logs: typically 7 days per provider policy
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data with sub-processors necessary to operate the platform (edge infrastructure providers). We will disclose data where required by law.
Your Rights

Personal Data Outside Your Jurisdiction
AetherZero operates on a globally distributed edge network. By using the platform or submitting an access request, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your own. We rely on appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected wherever it is processed.
